prodot GmbH has been working with HERE Europe B.V.’s maps for its telematics and geo-fencing projects since 2015. A recently sealed partnership now sees the two companies cement their cooperation moving forward.

As a cartography specialist, HERE is the leading provider of digital location technology. The company’s three-dimensional maps enable autonomous driving, the provision of telematics data and the geographic use of IoT devices.

prodot IoT Portal – Easy-to-use location determination and resource planning

For the provision of complex telematics value-added services, prodot relies on the relevant location information offered by HERE maps. This and other data from various sources are then collected, analysed and evaluated in one central location – the prodot IoT Portal. As a cloud-based solution, the IoT Portal provides a range of valuable key figures on device, machine and vehicle fleets. Among other things, this telematics and geo-fencing data enables new options for resource planning or risk identification in logistics, the construction industry or hazardous goods transport projects.
