How it all began
It all began in 1998 with a chance encounter between two students during the first semester introduction. Shortly afterwards, it became a dream come true for Mischa Hüschen and Pascal Kremmers. They founded prodot, a digitalization expert and pioneer that strengthens companies with the right software solutions for digital competition. Today, we are a team of around 80 employees who work together to develop industry-specific and needs-based digital solutions.

We are an AI and software services provider with roots in the Ruhr region. Our communication is open and honest, and staying close to our clients matters to us. At the same time, together with them, we keep a strategic eye on international developments — above all in Artificial Intelligence: new models, agents, and copilots we make usable for concrete applications in the German Mittelstand.
Our strength lies in interdisciplinary teams that do not treat AI, data, cloud, and software development as separate silos, but bring them together into a single solution. In AI projects, that is not a detail but a core commitment: GDPR-compliant development, clear data sovereignty, and German cloud options such as Microsoft Azure Germany, Microsoft Fabric, and Copilot for Microsoft 365 instead of data flowing into unclear third countries.
