No. prodots’ approach is integrative rather than replacement-based. AI layers are overlaid on existing SAP, ERP, and CRM systems—via REST, OData, SAP BAPI, or event pipelines. Your master data, authorization models, and workflows remain fully intact. Only once an AI use case has proven effective is the integration expanded—we avoid “big bang” migrations, which multiply risks rather than reduce them.
How long does a typical AI integration project take?

For clearly defined use cases, it is realistic to expect initial productive results within six to ten weeks—including interface implementation, data pipeline, and pilot operation. The duration depends on data availability, the complexity of the target systems, and compliance requirements. During the initial consultation, we’ll provide a reliable assessment following a brief review of your system landscape—without a time-consuming preliminary pitch.

How is GDPR compliance ensured during AI integration?

Data protection is an integral part of the architecture, not an afterthought. We plan for data residency (Azure EU region or on-premises), access control policies, pseudonymization, and audit logs from the very beginning. For the EU AI Act, we classify each use case by risk class and determine the corresponding documentation and logging requirements—high-risk systems require at least six months of logging.
