Development of a new tendering platform for all nine ALDI SOUTH countries. prodot has created a web-based individual solution that standardizes tendering processes internationally and makes it easier to compare offers. This increases the efficiency and speed of the tendering process.
High-performance processing of tenders online
As a partner of ALDI SOUTH, prodot supported the discounter in optimizing processes in the context of tendering for articles. The workflow was standardized internationally based on the buyer's needs.
Suppliers can conveniently enter all tender data online. This makes it possible to save interim statuses, receive reminders of deadlines and export tender content to Excel. ALDI SOUTH buyers benefit from a rich client that covers all tasks in the tender life cycle - from form design to a standardized, clear comparison of tenders.

With the introduction of the ALDI TENDERING PLATFORM, the tendering processes, which were previously largely carried out manually, were standardized and transferred to digital workflows - in all ALDI SOUTH countries.

Modular system for easier content publication
Within the new CMS, editors are able to create and link new subpages and content independently using a modular system within the corporate design. Entities that define content types, such as a team or a specific player, are defined in the revised system. The editors assign content blocks to these independently. Relationships between content are created using freely definable tags. The content aggregation backend then automatically compiles the content according to topicality or tagging, adds data from other systems if necessary and dynamically plays it out on the website and mobile app.
The CMS can manage multilingual content, the pages are linked and searchable. All content is optimized for search engines according to current SEO requirements.
