What is Azure AI Foundry?
Azure AI Foundry is Microsoft’s comprehensive developer platform for building, deploying, and running AI applications based on language models, vision models, and AI agents in Azure.
Azure AI Foundry brings together features that were previously spread across various services: the model catalog featuring models from OpenAI, Mistral, Meta, Cohere, and other providers; tools for prompt flow; evaluation and validation capabilities; an agent framework; and secure deployment mechanisms.
Azure AI Foundry is the successor to the former Azure AI Studio. It also includes dedicated agent capabilities, deeper integrations with Microsoft Fabric and Copilot Studio, and enhanced security and governance features.
