Intuitive, customer-friendly user interface for a predictive maintenance solution for elevators.
Solution
Development of an appealing customer portal for TK Elevator's MAX - the first cloud-based predictive maintenance solution. Real-time data from thousands of sensors in elevators and moving walks is sent to the Microsoft Azure cloud, where complex algorithms calculate the remaining life of key components and systems to determine which parts require maintenance and when. Experts from thyssenkrupp and Microsoft jointly developed the concept and delivered a revolutionary solution to maximize elevator availability.
Customer Portal
The customer portal developed by prodot in collaboration with TK Elevator keeps MAX customers up to date on the status of their devices at all times.
The multi-client-capable web portal uses analysis and real-time data from MAX and visualizes statistics on key figures such as operating time, door movements, distances, capacity utilization and device status. Users have the option of filtering and comparing statistics across different time periods and device groups.
At the same time, users are also informed about the diagnostic results from this intelligent solution; these can include the real-time status of the entire device portfolio or warnings about impending downtimes (predictive maintenance).
A generic group concept makes it possible to group different device parts and assign specific users to them. All users can therefore only see what they are allowed to see. In addition, individual statistics can be switched on and off for user groups.
Statistics and data are also made available to other external systems that use the corresponding REST APIs.
